Long-term cross-wiki abuse, causing havoc in English Wikipedia's Unicode-related articles going back months ([1]), and already blocked for 1 year on English Wiktionary ([2]), with disruptive edits going back years. I'm aware it's a wide range, but it's become a real problem at this point. Checking other large wikis at random shows similar disruptive edits, to a more limited extent ([3], [4], [5]). --Theknightwho (talk) 08:27, 27 July 2024 (UTC)

Sorry but I will have to decline this as well - as you say it is indeed a large range, too large to place any longer global block on, especially since we are talking about an Indian range, which have an especially large amount of collateral. I think global blocks on smaller parts of this range, and local blocks on affected wikis, are wise (especially where edits from this range are more rare), but the range is, sadly, too large to globally block. I think we will have to wait with this one for now, users are still actively editing multiple wikis (including their home wiki) with no local block. I will suggest waiting for SPI results at enwiki - I think we could potentially lock in case they are blocked at enwiki and the socking is indeed confirmed. EPIC (talk) 13:55, 26 July 2024 (UTC)

1. Due to disruptive behavior on zh.wikipedia.org, the user has been blocked[6].

I'm closing this for now. I think a zhwiki block is indeed justified (and at first glance it does resemble the linked user above), but I don't really see cross-wiki abuse to the point where the account should be locked. I do note this revert war which is indeed concerning, but nothing lockable (especially when it seems that the IP was vandalizing). Also, Stalin kzj is not locked, and at the moment I think this is mostly an issue for the wikis on which they are active, especially since their edits there are mostly unreverted. If they were blocked on another wiki I'd probably reconsider a lock. EPIC (talk) 07:44, 27 July 2024 (UTC)
